Installation Notes
  • Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7220; Manifold height: A-3.50″, B-4.75″; Carb pad height: 4.12″; Carb recommendations: Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 500-650cfm, for automatic transmissions use #1483 & #1490 or #1844. Port exit dimensions: 1.09″ x 1.84″; Due to the design of Performer manifolds, the throttle and kickdown bracket on some vehicles may require modification to fit. Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEAL GASKETS. Will not fit 255 c.i.d. V8. Use Edelbrock #8524 intake manifold bolt kit which includes hardened washers to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
